Would you like to study the history of world literature?

This is a subtly different story, and I prefer to study the background of the times in a piece of literature rather than 'total history of world literature'. I took a liberal arts course called 'Love and Men in Literature' last semester. In the lecture, I studied the background of many literary works such as 'Pride and Prejudice', 'Wuthering Heights', 'Enemy and Black'. It was very interesting.
